September is a big month for the Island’s road running community as two races, which are the second and third leg of the Island’s triple crown, will be staged.
The Staten Island Track and Community’s (SITRAC) Labor of Love 5K Race, the second leg of the triple crown, is set for Saturday, Sept. 3, beginning at 9 a.m. at Clove Lakes Park.
Meanwhile, the Michael’s Cause 5K will be held Sunday, Sept. 18 at 9 a.m. at Midland Beach. This event is the third leg of the triple crown.
