Homebuyers trying to find properties for sale in what has become a desert of available inventory in the Lehigh Valley might finally get some relief this summer.

The seller’s market has been ablaze since the summer after the March 2020 economic shutdown due to the pandemic. When lockdown mandates were lifted, remote workers began buying farther away from large cities and traditional job centers. It sent the regional real estate market soaring with its ease of access and close proximity to several of the largest markets, population centers, airports, railways and seaports, including New York City and Philadelphia.
