N.J. weather: Snowfall totals across the state top 15 inches as strong nor’easter lashes region – NJ.com

The snow from the powerful nor’easter is still falling at a steady rate in some parts of New Jersey Saturday morning, and the winds are roaring across the Jersey Shore where blizzard warnings remain in effect.

While only light snow has fallen in northern and western sections of the state, in other areas a standard ruler isn’t long enough to measure the big piles of snow on the ground. In the Forked River section of Lacey Township in Ocean County, 15.5 inches of snow has already been reported.
