You’ll soon be able to enjoy an alcoholic drink while enjoying a pedicab ride in New Jersey — thanks to the first bill acting Gov. Nicholas Scutari has ever signed into law.
Scutari, usually the state Senate president, visited Asbury Park to grant final approval to a measure that will regulate pedicabs — those bicycle rickshaw-like, manually pedaled vehicles that ferry you along the boardwalk at the Shore — in the Garden State and permit people to drink alcohol in them.
